About Me

Hi, I'm Vicki. I'm so excited to be here to welcome you all to Sunset House. I started Sunset House in December 2012, and it's been so much fun watching it grow into the vibrant place it is today.

When I bought the run-down property behind my house, I didn't really have a game plan for it.  I used my spare time from my day job to farm my backyard, create offbeat art, rent out rooms, and renovate the buildings.  After a lot of sweat, labor, trial and error, the eclectically cool, whimsical, little hostel finally emerged.

Today, I am thrilled to greet  each guest that finds their way to our door.
